through my work with elevenfiftyfive i've been heavily involved in the jameson first shot film competition for the last two years

run by jameson irish whiskey with kevin spacey, dana brunetti and their hollywood based production company trigger street, the challenge for filmmakers is to write a 7 page short film script casting the competition's a-list actor of the year in the lead role. year 1 saw kevin spacey in three winners films, followed by willem dafoe, then uma thurman and, last year and this year, adrien brody and maggie gyllenhaal respectively

as well as being involved in the comms with the filmmaking community, something close to my heart from my experience of starting straight 8, seven productions has created all the key films for the adrien brody and maggie gyllenhaal years.  a selection of these appear on this page including the winner announcement film shot in sydney, sheffield and los angeles all on the same day.

it's another great comp for filmmakers who enjoy a challenge, a deadline and who'd like the possibility of directing a-list talent in hollywood, produced by trigger street
